WoW cover depicting a 'Battle Angel'. Really happy with the colours in this one, I spent a full day trying out different schemes but it was well worth the effort
This is beautiful... If it's not too much trouble can you tell me where or how you learned to draw like this? Because I've been really struggling with my digital paintings, they never look right.

Think back to a time when someone said something to you, something that made you feel really bad, something that hurt your feelings...and forgive them. Trust me, you'll feel better.
Lots of patience and lots of practice! Studying your favourite artists work is a big help. Keep drawing the things you like and try to learn the basics of composition, colour and values. It takes time (took me 8 years lol) but if you stay focused you'll get there in the end!

I'm not afraid of heights, I'm afraid of falling. I'm not afraid of the dark, I'm afraid of the unknown. I'm not afraid of change, I'm afraid of leaving my love behind. I'm not afraid of loving you, I'm terrified that you'll break my heart.
I wish to ask your permission to use your work in my lecture for my Art Theory & Criticism class
I have place below the critique I have written for your work below

Paul Davies’ “WOW Angel”(digitally painted illustration) is an exiting work that takes my breath away, as it takes me into a dynamic world of fantastic warring creatures and dream like realms.
Floating in the center of the work is a scantily clad and very voluptuous female angel in leather and gold lined armor, which immediately captures one’s eye, especially for the male viewers. Her sexuality is countered by her spiritual nature as depicted by the white translucent armored wings, which signifies her heavenly might. This is further enhanced by the act of drawing a silver sword for a leather and gold-lined sheath that matches her armor.
Although the angel created is a very sexy and in a seemingly alluring fashion, one cannot delve too deeply into that sensuality and move on to feel her strength and power as presented by her piercing blank-eyes stare and aggressive fighting stance.
The angel is posed as if preparing for battle and the tension is enhanced by lighting bolts striking the mountain tops right behind her. However, there seems to be no real danger to her, as signified by the background rendered in colors of purple that flows to a relaxing blue.
In totality, this is a wonderfully conceived and rendered artwork that never fails to enthrall me each time I see it.

It was worth spending a full day of trying.
