Goblin Head Sketches

When sketching out ideas for a character (or in this case, a race of goblins), I always start with the head, making sure that the face is adaptable to suit a wide range of expressions and so that it will lend itself well to characters with different personalities.

These sketches are designs for the goblins of Tellest. Friendly guys on top, bad guys at the bottom. I took inspiration from the lotr orcs for the bad guys.
