One of my first ever digital illustrations :) It was during this that I started experimenting with custom brushes in Photoshop, I'd be lost without them now!

My own work is photography, so I don't know a thing about this kind of stuff. You mention custom brushes in Photoshop, but I assumed art like this was done in Painter. That's not the case?
